The name “Tra di Noi,” meaning “Between Us” in Italian, reflects the restaurant’s mission to offer a welcoming, family-style dining experience that brings people together over exceptional food.

We are located in Malibu Village at 3835 Cross Creek Road #8A, Malibu, CA 90265, between The Malibu Colony Company and Alfred Coffee.

Tarcisio Mosconi - Owner of Tra Di Noi

Tarcisio Mosconi has over thirty years of restaurant business experience specializing in operations, general management and finance. Tra Di Noi's already established team, he is always searching for the finest cuts of fish and meat, as well as delicacies, fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Born and raised in Rome in 1951, Tarcisio Mosconi grew up surrounded by the rich culinary traditions and vibrant food culture of Italy's capital. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for food and the hospitality industry, inspired by the family meals that brought people together and the bustling Roman restaurants he admired.

Driven by his love for creating memorable dining experiences, Tarcisio pursued a career in the restaurant business, honing his skills and learning the art of hospitality. His vision was always clear: to offer guests more than just a meal but a unique and heartfelt experience that embodies Italian warmth and generosity.

Tarcisio’s journey took him through various roles in the restaurant world, from chef to manager, allowing him to master the details of both the kitchen and the front of the house. This hands-on experience fueled his desire to open his own restaurant, where he could share his love of authentic cuisine with a broader audience.
